NEW MACHINE PURCHASE

Following the awarding of a contract from a new American automotive customer for an insert moulded product as well as other associated technical mouldings, we have taken the decision to purchase a new Engel machine on which the products will run.

The Victory 80/28 Tech Engel machine is a tiebarless machine with an 18mm screw and barrel. The advantage of the tiebar less machine is that it is easier to load tools into the machine and larger tools can be accommodated as there are no tie bars restricting the platens.

We have also purchased two nearly new 110T Demag tiebar machines. Both the new 28T Engel and the two 110T Demag machines are not part of the ‘replacement of old for new machines program’ that is running at PEP but is a further enhancement of our machine range.
