Process Control

The complete production plant is controlled centrally by a closed loop CIM ( Computer Integrated Manufacturing ) system, a computerised scheduling system is also incorporated.

This state-of-the-art system enables all preset process control parameters to be continuously monitored to ensure stability of the production process.

Industry specific management software is networked throughout the organisation to enable complete traceability from sales order through production to despatch.

PEP's plant consists of 17 modern microprocessor controlled injection moulding machines with capabilities ranging from 20-300 tonnes.

With the production plant operating on a 24 hrs per day 5 days per week basis we can make available a total of 2040 machine hours per week.

Robotics

Various machines are fitted with CNC Servo, Pick & Place Robots and a variety of Sprue Pickers. This facility enables PEP to provide the customer with various options of conventional component production or automatic cellular manufacturing from single and multi-impression tooling.

PPAP Submission

For Automotive customers PEP can supply fully detailed PPAP's (Production Part Approval Process) from level 1 to level 3 to fit customer requirements as laid down by QS9000.

Fully Dimensioned ISIR's

After completion of successful tool trials the components are inspected in our fully equipped Quality Laboratory and measured against either the part drawing or CAD data to confirm manufacture to specification.

Initial Sample Reports are supplied to the client for final approval and sign off.
