PEP is a Leading Injection moulding automotive oriented company based in North London is recruiting for Quality Engineer role who will be:
Reporting to the Quality Manager and working close with the Goods-in, Project Engineers and Production Team, you will help ensure the effective and efficient day to day operation with the manufacturing facility.
The candidate will have experience in working to the requirements of ISO9001& IATF16949 management systems knowledge and will be conversant with LEAN or similar manufacturing methodology. Be fully conversant with all windows based packages.
The candidate will offer support in quality accreditation applications, reporting and audit process to support such accreditations ISO/IATF.
Main duties & Responsibilities:
Ensuring product is manufactured to the required quality standards.
Trend analysis and data recording to identify and resolve quality issues.
Raise and manage corrective and preventive action process, co-ordinating CAR / 8D root causes and corrective actions for both in house and customer returns complaints.
Liaise closely with the Quality Manager and Production Management team to ensure quality issues are made known to them. Ensure corrective training of relevant staff or revision of processes is carried out to prevent recurrence.
Internal and external process and systems auditing.

PEP requires an injection moulding tool setter/technician to work in our busy injection moulding plant near Enfield.
You must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in setting and troubleshooting, working with a variety of engineering grade materials; a good knowledge of tooling, 3 & 6 axis robotics and machines. City & Guilds or NVQ training preferred.
Able to work on your own as well as in a team, ensuring minimum down time and reject product; with good communication skills.
Permanent day shift and permanent night shifts available, salary dependent upon experience.
