Make UK Defence plays a vital role in connecting OEMs, system integrators and specialist SMEs across the defence sector, helping to strengthen UK sovereign capability and promote collaboration throughout the supply chain. Joining the organisation reflects PEP’s ongoing commitment to supporting defence and defence‑adjacent programmes with reliable, UK‑based manufacturing capability.
PEP specialises in engineering-led injection moulding and tooling, supporting customers from early design stages through to stable, long‑term production. Our structured Engineering Partnership Process focuses on reducing manufacturing risk, improving manufacturability and ensuring consistent quality throughout the lifecycle of complex plastic components .
As defence programmes increasingly demand resilient and secure supply chains, UK‑based manufacturing, traceability and engineering support have become critical. Through Make UK Defence, PEP looks forward to engaging with other members to explore collaboration opportunities, share best practice and contribute to complete, high‑quality solutions for defence applications.
We see particular value in working alongside electronics manufacturers, system integrators and solution providers where plastic components, enclosures and tooling form part of wider programmes. By combining complementary capabilities early, SMEs can strengthen bids, reduce delivery risk and support long‑term programme success.
